Meet Isaak

I’m not a career politician—I’m a homeowner, small business owner, and community organizer who’s deeply rooted in Bloomington. I’ve built my campaign on conversation, common sense, and the belief that every resident deserves to be heard.

In my last run for City Council District 4, we built a coalition across backgrounds and beliefs. We knocked on doors, held listening sessions, and earned the respect of thousands of residents who saw something different: a candidate focused on people, not politics.

Now, I’m running At-Large to serve all of Bloomington—with the same commitment to transparency, fiscal discipline, and inclusive leadership. Join me to help us win!

Isaak at the State Capital

Our focus – Your Voice. Your Vote!

I am focused

•    Supporting small businesses with practical reforms and fewer bureaucratic hurdles
•    Protecting renters and homeowners from rising costs and opaque city decisions
•    Bringing transparency to city budgeting and spending priorities
•    Advocating public safety that’s proactive, not reactive

This means my priorities will include:

Fiscal Responsibility

Budgets aren’t just numbers, they’re values. I’ll fight for clarity in every line item and push for investments that serve our long-term health, safety, and affordability

Inclusive Representation

Whether you rent or own, speak English or another language, run a business or raise a family—your voice matters. I’ll show up in every precinct, knock on doors, and stay after meetings because representation starts with presence.

Public Safety & Emergency Readiness

Every resident deserves to feel safe. I’ll advocate for strong partnerships with law enforcement and first responders, and ensure our city is prepared—not just reactive.

Support for Small Businesses & Property Owners

I’ll fight for policies that respect your investments, reduce red tape, and support local entrepreneurship.
